No Good Can Come from This

by Dave Warner

This song featuring the amazing surf-guitarist Martin Cilia is a made-up song sung by Blake Saunders main character in my crime novel River of Salt. I decided to actually write and record it, period 1963, genre Surf-Croon aka Sang With Twang.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My music covers a whole lot of different styles. My first band Pus, was a Fugs-Zappa influenced punk band(1972) pre Sex Pistols. I followed with Dave Warner's from the Suburbs, various styles (predominantly new-wave rock and pub rock) but also write narrative, country songs and lots of other styles. No Good Can Come From This for example, is a song written in 1963 doo-wop with twang style, because it appears in my novel River of Salt (publish date April 2019).
