Live at the VAC

***New Release*** With new flavors of Soulful Americana, these songs are finely crafted gems that define David's growth as a writer and performer. It is rare to hear a live performance sound so polished, especially without a single post-production overdub

Album Notes
\"Live at the VAC\" was recorded during two concerts in Boise, Idaho on April 25th and 26th of 2008. David Andrews helmed a 12-piece band for two sold out shows, both benefit concerts to raise money for the Idaho Winter Games, Special Olympics 2009. David wrote new material for this recording, many songs were played for the first time on stage. There were no overdubs done in the post-production process...just raw energy and performance quality caught on tape. David continues to deliver well-crafted songs with a new focus on piano driven hooks and soulful rock. For these shows, David added a horn section, string section and back-up vocalists to create a sound fit for an arena rock show. In the spirit of Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, this live recording is a fine addition to your David Andrews collection.
