Album Notes
Haunted by the various attempts at failed band projects, Wiebe set his pen to paper and hands to guitar in 2005 to write a collection of songs that expressed his feelings, emotions, and inner thoughts about discouragement and disappointment. This proved to be a therapeutic process.

Equipped with a handful of unconventional arrangements, Wiebe went into the studio to record. Inspired by Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Extreme, Mourning Widows, Further Seems Forever and others, Wiebe would go on to create an eclectic mix of Folk Rock, Funk, and Jazz songs that make up this collection.

Musically very interesting. Lower vocal range sounds promising but the quality needs work, worst on the hyphenated syllables. Lyrics are the weakest part. I'd like to hear further developments.

Great Independent Relase, But Rough Around The Edges
Shipwrecked is a fantastic independent release. Those who have heard Lightly Toasted Touché will notice considerable growth in David’s songwriting and musical skill. I simply marvel at his ability to fuse diverse influences to create a unique but cohesive whole. The music is so assorted and so completely different from anything he’s done before that you might not even realize that it’s the same guy who sang and played guitar for LTT.

The chief weakness of the album is the vocals. Those who have heard David before will notice a vast improvement, but it’s clearly not a skill he’s mastered yet. The album is nonetheless enjoyable and entertaining. It’s far more positive and accessible than any metal record you’re going to hear. All told, there’s something for everybody on this album.

Refreshing Album
The CD is simply awesome and new. I can tell that a perfect combo of instruments all came together to produce this album. It has a refreshing sound and (for some reason) reminds me of the summer.

Hey! I thought this cd was very well done, and yes, quite improved from Lightly Toasted Touche(but that cd's good too!) Anyway, I think that the guitar solos and other instrumentals were very good, but vocals could use a little bit of work. Other than that, lyrics were good, and overall the cd was far better than a LOT of other, better known artists out there.

Dudes! And Dudettes!! This CD is freakin' AWESOME!!!! Although, the big man DAW needs some work on his vocals. Udder dan dat, tis s'all good, yo!!
