ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Music feeds my soul and helps keep me sane. I love to listen to an eclectic mix of music: jazz and blues, rock, funky, R&B, singer-songwriter, folk, latin, world, indie, some classical and “other.” What I play has become pretty eclectic too, and this album showcases how all that music has filtered through me to create a collection of instrumentals that are mostly upbeat with a groove and are distinctly melodic.
A guitarist off and on for a while now, I was in a few (loud) bands in my youth, and have added a little bit of keyboarding, bass and percussion skill as time went by. My main paying gig is photographing the performing arts, and I shoot a lot of musical performers in many genres, including some of the greatest artists. Being a musician is a real boon when shooting performances, helping with timing and a feel for when a great moment will happen.
So, I live a musical life and making music is such a joy and privilege.
