In the Black Space

by David Cevoli

This poetic debut subtly weaves its way through the various genres that make up Americana: jazz, country, rock and blues. The songs set life's most common themes in a mythological landscape that´s raw & brutally sincere.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I met Thurman in the summer of 2003 while we were both spending time in Granada, Spain, and we instantly appreciated each other’s musicality. His faith in my songs was the seed that generated this collaboration, and the care he’s put into producing these recordings speaks for itself. Gracias, amigo.

My deepest appreciation goes out to my parents, Rose and Ed, and to the friends that have contributed help along the way, including Josh Weitzer, Josep Montañés, Bradley Bergey, Adam Linden, Robb Zucker and Andres Bartos. A special thank you goes to Maura, whose support and love have aided me incalculably.
