ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
David C. Johnson, born in Detroit, Michigan, began studying piano at the age of 7. He then went on to take up the bass guitar on his own at the age of 11. At an early age, David knew that music was his calling. He performed all over the Detroit Area until he took an offer to work with a band in S.W. Florida in 1989. Since that time, David has become one of S.W. Florida's premier musicians, and a "first call" bassist.

In the beginning of 2000, David was granted the opportunity to tour with the Grammy Award winning legends, The Neville Brothers. He is also a member of the Aaron Neville Quintet, with performances on David Letterman, Jay Leno, the Today Show, and Craig Kilborn to his credit.

This one is too good to miss
This CD hits all the right spots. It can take you to whatever destination you are looking for, whether it be a slow mellow groove, gettin'funky or just wanting to be inspired. In the night is so romantic, and Vision really jams. They are all great tunes. Buy it, you won't be sorry !

Your ears will surrender to his style.
Songs about you and me is a soulful collection of smooth sounds ideal for any occassion. Soft enough for a romantic candlelight dinner, but saucy enough for downtown driving. David's hypnotic voice will take control of your soul and leave you begging for more. His talent for the bass might even surpass his voice, but together they melt into one pefect union of sound.

Get This CD!!
This CD puts you right where you want to be. Smooth, soulful and easy. If you've got Marvin Gaye, Al Green, or Barry White in your CD player this needs to be in there too. David oozes talent and can pimp a Bass guitar like no one else. ..

Jazzy, Funky, Romantic, and AWESOME IN ALL RESPECTS
If you're looking for songs that cover your moods for romance, funk, jazz, R&B an appreciation for God, this will cover all bases and then some. Amazing to note that not only the vocals are excellent but David plays many of the instruments and writes many of the songs. What a talent and what an absolutely wonderful CD! I can't get enough!!!

A music fan

This CD takes me on an emotional journey!!
I like every song on this CD!! Every song is a favorite when I'm in that mood. "Maybe I Dream Too Much" reminds you of when you were in love with someone, but the timing just wasn't right. "My Love" talks about feeling that love, and needing that reassurance that it will last. "Thinking Of You" is a bona fide "jam" talking about love that happened too fast. "In The Night" is a bellyrubber that entices your lover to adjourn to the bedroom."Vision" is a song about someone trying to pull the wool over your eyes, but you wake up just in time. "Where Did Lisa Go?" is a funky, trippy groove that speaks of an old flame that has lost their way. "But It's Love" talks about the search for peace of mind ending with God. This song could have been sung by either Marvin Gaye or Brian McKnight. I can't listen to "Home" without crying. I don't think you'll be able to either. BUY THIS ONE!!!!
