ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This (acoustic jazz) album was conceived during a 30+ hour solo road trip from Wisconsin to Philly and back. There was a lot of inner contemplation going on during that trip as I was coming home to be with my sister-in-law during her last days of fighting cancer, as well as dealing with my recent diagnosis of my own cancer. My originals are based on standards I love to play and always wanted to record. The quartet also consists of Johannes Wallmann on piano, Mark Urness on double bass, and Ernie Adams on drums and percussion. It was a thrill and pleasure to work with these guys on this very personal project.
