ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Who on earth is David Ennis?
A broth of a boy from Ireland with the gift of the gab who tells it like it is, was and will be in poetry and prose, God knows, wit and humour here, there and everywhere, every word a word to be heard, take it from me, this leprechaun knows, you know! Pub talk, small talk, words walk! An Irish jig, a bit of Irish music, new and old, a pot of gold! A rainbow of words and phrases from the land of airs and graces! And whatever you're having yourself!
Come on in, you're very welcome! Make yourself at home! Pull up a chair and sit down! Twice around the floor and mind the dresser!
Will the good talk never stop, will the good talk never start, who speaks these words to you, who speaks to your heart?
Moods of music, moods of magic, moods of gladness, moods of tragic.
Moods, moods, moods.
Mood music for the soul. Feeling, healing, happy, sad, listen here, be glad!
The same, only different....

Voice and words, David Ennis
John's Jig, traditional air, played by Mircea Petcu
Laragh River Theme, composed and played by Bryan Claibourn
