Album Notes
On this fine Inner City re-release, David Friesen surrounds himself with some of the best players in the New York jazz scene of the 70s and 80s. Featured on this disc of Friesen originals are guitarists Ralph Towner and John Stowell, reedman Paul McCandless, flutist Nick Brignola, drummer Bob Moses and percussionist Jim Saporito.

Friesen's accomplishments include four 5-star album reviews from DownBeat, a cover feature in Jazz Times Magazine in 1987 and a nomination for best Jazz Bassist for the American Jazz Awards in 1997, to name just a few.

Great music
David Friesen is an incredible lyrical bass player. His bass just sings. These tunes encompass both jazz and world music and an uplifting mood.
