Album Notes
Hello everyone!
I am so thrilled to release this new CD. It is a project I am especially proud of. While living in Nashville for ten years, I had the opportunity to become good friends with Dewayne Blackwell (writer of “Friends In Low Places” for Garth Brooks). I am so proud to have him as a co-writer on one of the songs I have included on this CD. I also included three other songs that he was involved in
writing. The rest of the CD is written or co-written by me.
The response to this CD so far has been phenomenal. Larry Delaney, writer of the “Record Reviews” for the Country Music News magazine out of Ottawa, Ontario, gave it a great review. Check out the May and December 2007 editions
online at www.countrymusicnews.ca. Already two of the songs released for radio in Canada have made it in the Top 100 of the Cancounty Chart. It’s been great working with Joe Wood in Toronto. He has been so helpful in getting my
songs out there to Canadian radio.
As of December “The Best Tears Of Her Life” made it to the #1 spot in the Top 40 Independent Country Songs in THE MUSIC REVIEW out of New York. One song from the CD had a twenty week stay on a station in South Carolina. Overseas it is receiving a lot of airplay in sixteen different countries. Over a hundred DJ’s have emailed their comments to my label and all have been very positive. Thanks to Frank Fara from Comstock Records for getting it out there.
Hope you enjoy listening. I’d be glad to hear from you. www.davidfromager.com
