ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In early October of 2010 vocalist David Patrone came to renowned Jazz pianist Mikan Zlatkovich with the idea of very traditional Christmas tunes done in an aggressive and improvisational style of Jazz. After assembling an all-star cast of jazz musicians from the West Coast, in just a few hours, they recorded this amazing collection of traditional and original tunes that combine traditional Jazz, Bebop, Latin and modern feel that's comparable to nothing else out there. We hope you enjoy it.

This CD features six of the best Jazz musicians alive today:
Mikan Zlatkovich: Piano and Arrangements
Bob Magnussen: Bass
Ralph Penland: Drums
Daniel Jackson: Saxophone
Gene Perry: Congas & other percussion
David Patrone: Vocals, arrangements and other strange noises
Richard James: Recording Engineer
Ian Sutton: Recording Engineer
Peter Sprague:Mixing and Mastering
