Album Notes
Discovering my anchor suddenly snagged amidst reef-rock and seagrass, I began to gnaw feverishly at the heavy chain. A dozen years passed before one rusted link finally gave way. The bloody metal rings disappeared one by one into the cold black, and I set sail. Due northwest. The waters proved calm and easily navigable. For decades I closed my eyes and breathed in the salty air. Eventually the chain became a distant memory. I even began to question the existence of the anchor itself. Had there ever really been anything tethering me to that turbulent patch of sea? I decided to find out, so I set sail. Due southeast. One more time...
