The Song Inside You

If David would be writing songs today, this is what they would sound iike. To tell his story, we replaced David's harp with acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, sitar, bass, and percussion, and the best behind the scenes vocalists you'll ever hear.

Album Notes
Inseparable. David’s life…his faith… his music. A man who lived the songs he wrote. David was the first singer/songwriter we know of. He lived around 1040 B.C. and his story in the Bible is known the world over. A man who led his people Israel with heartfelt passion. His successes, like his failures, were off the scale. The book of Psalms in the Old Testament reads like David's diary.

We chose the title The Song Inside You for good reason. If you have a passion for the creative arts, or ever wondered where talent and inspiration comes from, you can identify with this title. Being musically driven, we think in terms of all things creative as a song inside you. We believe everyone has at least one gift to share with the world, perhaps more.

David’s instrument was actually a ten-stringed lyre, a forerunner of all stringed instruments. If David was alive today, he would probably play a Martin acoustic guitar or an electric like a Gibson Les Paul to accompany the psalms and hymns he wrote.

For those who seek life’s meaning, David’s Harp rings true. This fresh approach to David’s story mirrors God’s character like no other in the Bible. Those who experience his telling of life’s lessons will come to one conclusion: If God can love David, then my life matters to Him.
