Album Notes
David Starr and Ben Harris are both Arkansas natives with roots in the Delta blues, country rock, jazz and R & B. The duo first met when Harris taught guitar lesson at Starr's Guitars in Little Rock in 1998.
While Starr lives in Colorado and Harris in NW Arkansas, the pair get together as often as possible to play music and tour. The songs on this duo CD reflect the intimate, raw quality they bring to their home concert, club and concert shows.
All but one of the songs on the album are Starr originals. The late Kenny Edwards composition, Fever, is a duo favorite and is often requested by fans at shows.
On this release, Starr handles vocals and acoustic guitar while Harris adds a tasty counterpoint on electric for most of the set. Ben plays acoustic on Fever and Life After You.
