ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Longing: One grand evening in Cork, Ireland, at the pub, a few pints in, my buddy Tom handed me a poem and said, "Turn that into a song!" We laughed and about 6 months later, it became "Longing". This recording features the Truebadours plus some brilliant musicians from Cork, Ireland and a wee Scottish chick. David True: vocals and guitar; Johnny McCarthy: whistle; Colm Murphy: bodhran & sami drum; Con Fada O Drisceoil: accordion; Paul Teneyuque: bass and vocals; Linda Gonzalez: vocals; beta.: vocals.

Home: Written shortly after we got caught in a storm at a party at Willie Nelson's ranch, in my convertible, with the top busted (wouldn't go back up), this one has a lot in it: how I met my wife, Vermont, Mexico, reflections on the meaning of "home" and more. David True: vocals and guitar; Marshal Hood: guitar; Jack O'Brien: bass and keyboards; Paul Teneyuque: vocals; Linda Gonzalez: vocals; Robb Kidd: drums.

I Don't Wanna Go: My buddy John had this great divorce going, but it didn't work out. He remarried the lovely Susie Q. Susie asked me to write a song for John's second 30th birthday, and "I Don't Wanna Go" was born! David True: vocals and guitar; Connor Forsyth: organ; Marshal Hood: guitar; Paul Teneyuque: bass and vocals; Linda Gonzalez: vocals; Robb Kidd: drums.
