Album Notes
This album was written ( except for Hold Your Tongue )and recorded from late 2010 to 2011. I used a Kirkland T. C. Electric Classical Guitar, a Fishman Loudbox Mini amp, some tambourines from my late grandfather, and my voice. I recorded all the songs but Saddest Times I've Known and The Light House Song, In My House. The other two, I recorded at a Holiday Inn Select
Hotel room in Nashville, over the Christmas Holiday that year. All tracks were recorded on my Tascam 424 Mk III didgital 24 track recorder. I titled the album Homemade with love because I baked alot of bread that year and my girlfriend would try it and say, "Mmmm, Homemade with Love." I thought to myself, " You know, I think my music is also Homemade With Love. " I wanted it to be really organic. I wanted the warm soft sounds of Nylon strings, I wanted hypnotic tambourines, and the oldest instrument in the world, the voice.
