Album Notes
For seven years dblWiDE has been playing the bars and honky tonks across the state of Florida, honing a sound and stage performance that drives their fans to frenzy. dblWiDE is the “house of the fire,” and the CASA DEL FUEGO CD captures that roarin’ house-melting heat. It features 1950s retro rock with that rockabilly wildman energy, but with smart songwriting showing a diversity of musical influences.

What does dblWiDE sound like? Think Hank Williams Sr. in the back seat of a Cadillac just after new years 1953, or that first Sun recording session where Elvis met Bill Black and Scotty Moore in 1954, or Carl Perkins and his brothers setting up in an Arkansas honky tonk with sawdust on the floor, or Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys playing in Cincinnati for the first time and really lettin’ loose, or Gene Vincent crooning to some rockabilly kitten he knows he’s gonna score with after the show, or all those late 1950’s rockabilly wild men who got the beat from Elvis, recorded those ultra-revved up county tunes, but died in obscurity.

becoming a big fan of dblWIDE

like the music very much!
I wasn't really a big fan for rock musics but now I am.
Frankly I began with All American Rejects but this CD is better than 'move along'!

Smokin' Rockin' Surfin' Sexy Fun.
You hear the phrase, "I'm in love with the girl run off with my wife..." and you know you're in for a wild ride. Filled with humor, a retro-sound, and blistering old-school twang Rockabilly guitar, strong vocals lovingly bathed in reverb; this is an album you can run on repeat while you party away the night with your woman, your beer, your wife, and your hotrod. Buy it and ride!

Amazing chemistry! Physically astounding!
Fantastic CD! These guys shred it on every song. Amazing guitar work from the Colonel, especially as he is rumored to be 98 years old and playing from inside an iron lung. The lyrics are evocative and soulful, and are delivered with a punch that makes you want to walk into your office, slap your boss, and high-tail it for a smoky honky-tonk that never closes. Really creative arrangements, stellar musicianship, and stories woven in between red-hot Gretsch work make me want to fly to Gainesville and split a bottle of bourbon with the Colonel, and talk about chicks, and prepare to be awed by his amazing wisdom concerning life, love, an' fast cars. Buy this CD! It rocks!

dblWiDE is one of those groups that you'll wish you went to go see in person when you had a chance because they're
going to be huge. Their historic, 1st CD release was a
sold-out, packed-house event and the CD is infusion of
exciting rockabilly with that feel-good beat.

A burst of energy
Great lyrics, and vocals that are a little bit well-tanked Hank...If you like Drivin & Cryin or the Georgia Satellites, give this a listen.

A Fantastic CD
A fantastic rockabilly CD!! The lyrics are original and the guitar work is awesome. All the songs are great but my favorite song on the CD has to be I'm in Love with the Girl (Run Off with my Wife).

Kickass CD!
CASA DEL FUGEO is a kickass CD that runs the gamut from 1950s inspired rockabilly, to straight ahead rock-n-roll, to a soon-to-be country classic called “I’m in love with the girl (run off with my wife).” Great song writing. Great vocals featuring lots of pretty harmonies. Screamin’ honky tonk lead guitar. Very well produced.

visceral rockabilly
I loved this CD. It’s rockabilly for sure, but a whole lot more too. I think the first song “I didn't have love” is my favorite. It’s got real feeling. But all the songs are great like that yodeling number and the song at the end aptly titled Now Stop.

A fan of dblWiDE

Awesome! The lead guitar work is wild. Congratulations dblWiDE!
Casa Del Fuego is American roots rock-n-roll at its best! These guys are good song writers. The lead guitar work is wild. The guitars wail and scream. But they put a beautiful pedal steel solo on that one about the girl who ran off with his wife. Congratulations dblWiDE.

Awesome, I recommend everyone to buy CASA DEL FUEGO
I was fortunate enough to seen dblWiDE play when I lived in Gainesville. They put on an amazing high energy show. The Colonel is the ultimate show man. But how many times have you seen a band live and then heard their CD and been disappointed because the CD does not capture the live energy? Not the case here. The Casa Del Fuego CD gives you the house on fire heat that dblWiDE is known for. It's like having dblWiDE live in your living room.
