Dead Pedals

by Dead Pedals

Like skilled craftsmen these guys pay close attention to the details, and intentionally allow for dirt to seep into their music. For true music fans, this a treat. Country alt-rock where the music stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the lyric

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If you find solace is the aging tobacco sheds that dot the Carolina countryside, or if you believe flat-bed trailers are better served as stages for Southern Rock Outfits, then you are probably a fan of the Dead Pedals. They have been described as "College Country Rock", or "Southern Dirt Music", but whatever you call them, The Dead Pedals simply write and perform good music. Over two decades of performing in regional bands and touring from Texas to Boston have led to this...a group that has clearly honed its craft. If the devil is in the details, then these boys are straight outta hell. What sets The Dead Pedals apart is that they still allow for the dirt to seep into their music. Like pure spring water flowing from rusty pipes, these guys prove that a well crafted Alt-Country song can still have an edge.
