Album Notes
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Deanna
D'Amico-White was handed a guitar at the age of six
by her Aunt Gloria, an entertainer, which woke her up to
the dream of becoming a performer. Her dream began
with her appearance in various film, television, videos
and stage productions, as well as commercials. She has
performed as a singer and dancer in Nashville, for Natalie Cole,as a member of the Young Americans, and as Disney animated heroines Ariel, Jasmine, and Pocahontas at Tokyo Disneyland.

Upon returning from Japan, Deanna bested all singers to becomethe overall "winner of the year" in a Los Angeles talent contest.
She started gathering new song ideas with other co-writers, which led to her first CD, A Song For Me and You. Her further collaborations as writer and producer with Kurt "Keys" Fries resulted in her current release, When I Play My Guitar. She continues to perform with Kurt
and her band at various venues in Southern California.

Deanna brings a fresh, energetic approach to her positive, insightful songs through true stories and personal experiences.

When I Play My Guitar
After hearing this album many times, I would like to say that Deanna is one of the most pure, heartfelt and talented individuals I have ever met. She puts everything she has into every song and that actually drives the way you feel. I would recommend to anyone to put this CD on and don't think about anything else, just listen and let it get into your soul. It will change your life. What a great album! A+

What a Gift!
This is the CD I\'m currently singing along with, as I drive around San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles. I love, love, LOVE it! I\'ve always been more than a little bit country (since my daddy was from Tennessee), so with this CD playing, while I sing along, I feel like my Tenn. roots are showing. Sure makes me wish I still had a guitar. TERRIFIC CD, the whole thing!
