Album Notes
This song was not written with anyone in mind. CJ wrote the riff a long time ago, and it sparked something silly inside of me. The idea of the worst relationship of all time. Someone who would say, "Oh, I don't need much... Just some attention, just your time, simply your thoughts, all of them. All I need is your blood and life and dreams and the car you drive and the songs you sing. I want everything that you are and will ever be? I want the world! Is that too much to ask for?" Well, duh! Yes, it's downright unhealthy. It's also something we subconsciously slip into if we are not careful. HOW DARE THE WOMAN I LOVE SAY THAT ABOUT ME?! I give her everything! Most of us wouldn't ask for this, but somehow we come to expect it from our relationship. We are two people growing; I get to watch you grow in life. That's a beautiful thing. You don't owe me anything, just your love... and time... and your thoughts...

This is an old concept, and I wanted to give it some instant history. I went through Andrew Brademeyer because he has a fantastic way of recording things in this digital age. He really records you. I wanted to give some extra love to this genius of a man! Thank you for putting in the dozens of extra hours into getting this just right! I'm proud of this song, and I'm proud of you, my friend.
