Album Notes
Debbie Lane has explored many music genres including jazz, pop, rock, and R&B. Her unique, eclectic repertoire reflects her musical background with performances in jazz combos and rock bands in the Boston area. She has performed at such venues as Scullers, Ryles Jazz Club and Somerville Arts at the Armory. Debbie describes This Happy Madness as a "collection of songs by favorite composers that span the many genres of music I love, from the 1920’s to today, with arrangements that are borrowed or reimagined." Rebecca Parris says, "Debbie's artistry is very evident, and she is a wonderful storyteller. I know listening will bring a big smile to your face!"
