ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Nobody's life will ever be like any other. We all have our own story, our own rhythm, and I think we should all be telling those stories.

I made this CD because I was offered a trade by a man who had his own studio, was low on cash and wanted music classes for his family. I've been wanting my own CD forever, so I jumped at the chance. Around the same time, I had joined a memoir group and started writing my stories. One month, a memoir matched a song I had written, so I presented them together. That inspired the concept of having a memoir piece for each song. Soon, my boyfriend insisted on recording my reading of each one and offering both music and spoken memoirs together. You can find the memoirs for each song here also.

These songs, and their companion memoirs, were all inspired by my exciting, unorthodox, adventurous life on the road, looking for new people, places and things, raising a family & always making music.
