Album Notes
Hailing from Vancouver Canada, by way of Los Angeles and now Nashville Tn, this dynamic artist is full of passion and you can hear it in every word she sings.

An international performer, Deborah recently enjoyed an excellent review in Performing Songwriter, which declares that we should expect lots more from this artist, and looks forward to recording her new album in Nashville, set for release Summer 2009. This will be the first recording penned entirely by the artist and promises to be not only her most personal, but inspirational and uplifting as well.

Constantly evolving Deborah is enjoying performing solo with both her Guitar and Keyboard. It's amazing to watch this performer as the room has a tendency to go completely silent and one might say seduced by her clear tones and emotive fire the expresses through her.

With her Los Angeles based band, Deborah Bishop offers a unique freshness that is energizing to listen to and fun to watch live! Deborah Bishop and the band have performed at various venues all over Los Angeles, including Platinum Live, The Joint, 14 Below, Lava Lounge, Studio City Bar & Grill, and others. Her songs have been featured on KLOS 95.5 Local Licks. And their debut album, written and co-produced with long time music partner George Leger II,I Just My Alibi, won the 2004 Los Angeles Music Award for Independent Americana Album of the Year! The single "Just My Alibi" is enjoying spins on radio stations across the United States.

Deborah has also been developing her passion and skill in the Personal developement arena and is bringing her world or performance and artistry to the ever growing audience of personal growth under the brand "Just say YES" which you can find out more about at

The CD "Just my Alibi" is available online at and here at! Whether it's solo acoustic, or full on with her amazing band, Deborah's performances are always filled with fire, passion and soul. Also drop by and say hello to Deborah on MySpace at!

Move aside Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morrisette, there’s a new girl on the block
Move aside Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morrisette, there’s a new girl on the block, Deborah Bishop is about to give you a run for your money. Blending country, pop and soft rock with soulful vocals, Deborah brings a new sense of depth to the genre, with meaningful and romantic lyrics delivered with a soft melodious yet deeply powerful voice. Her new album ‘Just My Alibi’, delivers the now rare beauty of an artist who truly sings from the heart. More often than not these days, most albums leave you feeling unsatisfied, delivering three or maybe four really good tracks (if your lucky), with the rest sounding like half produced ramblings or feeling like wall paper used to cover the gaps. Not here, each track is as perfectly produced, and mastered as the others; with subtle shifts, and broad musical diversity 'Just My Alibi’ is guaranteed to keep you coming back for more time and again.
