What's the plot?
Technology and the great outdoors come face to face in this comic romp about a group of kids who are sent off to summer camp with their cell phones in hand, only to lose all contact with the outside world when their canoe tips over in the lake. As the parents in the parking lot reminisce about summer camp experiences from their own childhoods, the modern-day campers are left on a deserted island to fend for themselves. Night falls, campfire storytelling becomes real, and characters from Shakespeare and the Brothers Grimm appear in the woods, baffling and befuddling the campers as they count the hours until sunrise, when their parents will surely realize they are missing, and come to their rescue. With highly singable songs and melodic nods to times gone by, "Return to Camp Wild!" is a great musical adventure for all ages.
