Where Did You Go? (Animal Rescue Song)

by Deborah Kazsimer

I'm an animal loving musician and wrote this song about animal rescue. The song speaks from the heart of an animal prior to and after being rescued. It is dedicated to all rescue animals and my dog, Trouble, who was a victim of neglect as a puppy.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I am an animal loving musician. I was inspired to write the song "Where Did You Go?" through my own personal experience of adopting two dogs from shelters. Trouble, my beautiful shepherd/husky mix, began his life in the hands of some very cruel, neglectful people. The owners did not want the litter of puppies their dog had given birth to, so instead of finding appropriate loving homes for them, a young man took these 5 week old pups and dumped them off in the woods. They would not have survived without food and having predatorial animals around. Luckily, a cop found the puppies and I adopted Trouble (his name given to him at the shelter). This 5 pound puppy was escaping the penned in area.... we kept his name, even though Trouble was NEVER any trouble at all! My heart goes out to not only the less fortunate animals who need rescued, but the incredible people involved in caring for and finding good homes for these neglected loving animals. Fly was my shepherd/malamute whom I adopted after two families did not want her. This is dedicated to Trouble and Fly, but also to all animals needing rescued.
