ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Deb Sardi bursts onto the Northwest Jazz scene with her new C.D. "Faces of Love". A sensual and sophisticated mix of beautiful ballads and upbeat traditional favorites.

Deb's sense of timing and lyrical phrasing is impeccable. Her sultry delivery of "Go Away Little Boy" heats up the room. Her hip bass-driven rendition of "It Could Happen To You" will make you smile, and her guitar and vocal rendition of "Never Never Land" is sung so simply and pure, it will make you cry. You'll want to hear them again and again.

"Music defines who I am right down to my soul", says Deb, who grew up listening to her mother's collection of Frank Sinatra,, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Doris Day and other singers and crooners of the day. Her introduction to jazz at nineteen became a life long passion that continues to grow.

As a child, Deb produced and starred in theatrical presentations to her neighborhood. In High School, she immersed herself in music and drama and went on to perform in numerous musicals in college. The experience gave her the opportunity to experiment creatively and shine musically.

After 20 years of performing in the San Francisco bay area jazz clubs and jazz festivals her love affair with jazz music brings her to Seattle where she can focus her vision and pursue her passion more fully. The Seattle jazz scene has welcomed her with open arms and she has found a loving home here.

"Faces of Love," a CD filled with a passion for both jazz and life. You'll want to enjoy it in solitude and with that special someone. "Faces of Love," straight from Deb's heart to yours.

Order it today and let the love affair begin!

Deb has a smooth, sexy voice. Very ear friendly...
I'm not an expert music critic but I am an artist and therefore understand the creative process pretty well. Deb Sardi's CD is full of exactly what the title says: Faces of Love. The music arrangement is very well done and her perfect pitch and vocals skills are very apparent on the CD. All in all, it's the perfect CD to pop in for that candlelit dinner with someone you want to get close to or seduce.....bueno.
