Vortex Chooseroo

by Décollage

'Vortex Chooseroo' is an easy one to shuck. A narrative that answers the question 'What happens when you eat too many oysters in New York'? - Oyster-tripping in Vortex Chooseroo. A delightful collection of slimey synths, gooey guitars, and viscous vocals.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'Vortex Chooseroo' is an easy one to shuck. A narrative that answers the question 'What happens when you eat too many oysters in New York'? - Oyster-tripping in Vortex Chooseroo. A delightful collection of slimey synths, gooey guitars, and viscous vocals. This song is an aphrodisiac for the earshells. The world is your oyster and you are the pearl.

‘Vortex Chooseroo’ is the first episode of a multidimensional trilogy. Follow along on our hand-made journey through space and time and - mind the dinosaurs!

This kaleidoscope creation story was rendered with paint, ink, black lights, balloons, plastic dinosaurs puppets, cotton clouds, glitter, & mylar.

Max Geimer has been working with Reed Fox on déCollage-related visuals for over nine years. Over time, their collaborations have spanned from live painting on canvas to theatrical dance interpretations of aliens and mummies at Red Rocks Amphitheater and feeding the crowd oysters at Meow Wolf. Most recently, they created an elaborate hand-drawn narrative to accompany decollage's live performances - this is a 'studio' version of that story.
