Album Notes
Dee McPherson writes with a passion, sings with intensity, and delivers the goods in this album of love songs. Pour yourself a glass of wine, put on the headphones, and sit back and enjoy the songs of "This Man Beside Me." Listening to her soothing voice, you'll quickly feel at home. Her original lyrics, an easy rhythmic style and melodies you can sing along to, will give you a fresh appreciation for the romance of love songs. Dee plays the piano in each of these songs, sings the tunes, and provides the harmony as well. She dedicates this album to Johnny Freeman, who really made that guitar come alive in high school, and encouraged her to write and record. Her Number 8 on the album is the song "The Ballad of Johnny at Jesse" which is a song of Johnny auditioning to an empty performance hall, which soon was filled with people who came in to hear hear him sing. Dee knows you will enjoy this, her second CD!
