Album Notes
Since 1998, The Deep Roots Music Project in Portland, Oregon has helped young writers and local musicians collaborate to create and record original songs and music CDs. Teen writers pen the lyrics. Some of the very best musicians from Portland's storied music scene perform the songs.

This is the 2nd annual CD from North Portland's Roosevelt High School. Standout musicians such as Jeremy Wilson, Madgesdiq, Michael Jodell, John Henry Bourke, and many others contribute songs.

All sales proceeds go directly to the Deep Roots Music Project and help students and volunteer musicians create more of their collaborative music.
