by Deezl

Featuring the immense rock vocals of John West, Deezl take the heaviest, brutal riffs and overlay ear-invading melody lines. This is heavy metal with a contemporary edge and a classic lineage.

Album Notes
The band features American singer, John West, who has sung with many of the greats including Jake E. Lee, Cozy Powell, Uli Jon Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen and George Lynch. He was the lead singer of Danish progressive metal band, Royal Hunt, for eight years from 1999. In spite of this impressive pedigree, he may well never have rocked harder than he does on this album.

The twin metal guitars are provided by Paul Wright and Steve Perkins, long time musical associates and the band's song writing team.

The engine room features the thunderous virtuoso drumming of Tim Brown (Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash / Persian Risk) and the driving bass of Wayne Banks (Messiah's Kiss / Sabbat / Persian Risk).

Providing an extra dimension on keyboards is Martin Powell (Cradle of Filth / My Dying Bride).

The album was recorded by Misha Nikolic at Monster Trax studio in Newark and mixed at Parlour Studios by leading metal producer, Russ Russell.

That's enough name dropping, time to let the music speak for itself. Hard edged and uncompromising , yet shot through with engaging melodies you may find hard to get out of your head, welcome to Deezl's debut album, Ignite.
