Album Notes
It has been said that Delhi 2 Dublin is the United Nations of rock ‘n’ roll. They are a Vancouver, Canada based band that plays an energetic mash-up of Bhangra, Celtic, Dub Reggae and Electronica with global rhythms and club beats whose members are as diverse in their backgrounds as they are in musical influences. The band has been together over five years and has released four albums including its latest, Planet: Electrified.

Planet: Electrified resulted when D2D invited ten of their favorite producers to remix their last album, Planet Electric. They feel the album represents an expansion for them, an experience that has pushed, twisted, and contorted their sound into everything from electro house to drum and bass. Also included is the new track, ‘Give it Away’, which is their take on the traditional Heer Ranjha love story. A story that expresses their belief that one must surrender to the divine in order to find any meaning in this crazy world.
