ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“The End of Philosophy”.

DELTA is a power/progressive rock/metal band from Chile and this fifth album is their hard

work result at its best. In this album, the dark and heavy atmosphere comes with “The End of

Philosophy”. Also you will be able to find straight forward heavy metal songs like “Like a Man”.

Groovy hard rock music with catchy melodies and big choirs arrangements for the songs “No

More” and “Frozen Heart”. Complexity, lots of “shred” and power in songs like “Darkened

Skies” and “New Philosophy”. Some interesting and fresh sound within “Fear Syndrome”.

Old progressive rock with big atmospheres and emotive sound in songs like “Nostalgia” and

“Farewell” and at last but not least, giant songs with all the epic and neo-classical sound like

“Bringers of Rain”. There is also a remake of a song from the first album of the band called

“Why are you so far?” That song is pure Neo-classical metal.

Mixed by the Swedish producers Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Udd at Fredman Studios.

Mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street, in Sweden. This album has all the requirements

of a top level rock production of the XXI Century. Heavy drums (without triggers), vocals in

your face, strong riffs sound. Everything in its place with a powerful and sharp sound.

This album has a few guest musicians like Gabriel Hidalgo (Six Magics, Dethroner, Sadism)

with the inspiring electric guitar in “Farewell”, Andrés Walker (La otra Fé, Los Vazquez) with

the warm sounding acoustic guitar in “Nostalgia”. The amazing voice of the talented singer

Consuelo Schuster (Ricky Lawson, Jennifer Batten) in backing vocals, and our special guest, the

incredible John West (Artension, Royal Hunt) singing in “Bringers of Rain”, among others.

DELTA is:

Felipe del Valle: Vocals

Benjamín Lechuga: Electric and acoustic guitars and backing vocals

Marcos Sanchez: Bass and backing vocals

Andrés Rojas: Drums

Nicolás Quinteros: Keyboards, theremin, programmed percussion and backing vocals

This is an intense album, with lots of different sounds in it that you won’t stop listening.
