Official Delusion Website :

Delusion was formed in September of 1995 by Phil Carnes , who embarked on a journey to recruit a handful of great musicians to record an album of rock and metal songs he had written. In October of 1995 , after comprehensive trademark searches , Delusion was born and the official website was launched on the internet. With a few demo samples on the website the band thus began what would become a modest worldwide fanbase. Delusion has strangely become an almost cult-like sensation leading to overwhelming internet support , a record contract , distribution , endorsements , songs on the internet charts , and much more ..... Delusion credits a great deal of its exposure to its inclusion on The Iron Maiden Tribute album released on Energi/Adrenaline Records in Italy and the annual Powermad Festival that was held in Maryland from 1997-2001. Delusion's new eleven song album , The Tragedy of Regrets , and their first music video were completed in 2003. The album was mixed and mastered by Drew Mazurek , whose credits include Gwar , Nothingface , Linkin' Park , Dog Fashion Disco , Souls at Zero , etc.

" Great collaboration of musicians .... Delusion serve up something serious. "
- The Mining Co.

" Captivating , mood-altering , widely diverse music that will hypnotise you and take you to a place far away. "
- The Baltimore Buzz Music Magazine

" A fresh sound and an impressively mezmorizing experience."
- The Prog/Rock Times

" Delusion plays Progressive Rock at its best ! The music is very melodic and with an excellent singer this album will surely surprise alot. Delusion is srongly awaited in 1999. "
- The French Connection

" Intricate and complex progressive, symphonic metal is Delusion's trademark. Delusion is obviously loaded down with influential experience. And with new vocalist Walt Downey of Surreal, Delusion are soon to be at the forefront of the prog-metal genre. "
- "OUAS" Online Music Magazine

[ from a review of the cassette sampler ] " If the rest is as good as these, I would recommend it to all looking for pretty melodic light-weight prog metal. "
- The Edge Of Time

" Four great musicians from four different bands bring their styles together to bring forth a new sound rich in mood and melody. Delusion are fresh , interesting , intelligent , and not your usual progressive metal band. Walt Downey's vocals shine on these two featured songs. "22 Acacia Avenue" is an incredble rendition of the masters classic , the production is amazing. Featured on Disc Two is the bands original "Feel This Way" , again with an amazing production of a premix from their upcoming debut album. This band rocks , keep your eye out for more on Delusion ! "
..... from a review of Children of the Damned : A Tribute to Iron Maiden.
Metal Razor Magazine - January 2000.

" Of the songs on the first disc, my favorites include Delusion's scorching cover of "22 Acacia Avenue"
..... from a review of Children of the Damned : A Tribute to Iron Maiden.
Dynamite Metal News.

" Nice double cd digi pack with cool pictures and easy to read information. One cd with tribute songs and one with the covering bands own songs. The best one is Delusion "22 Acacia Avenue"
