ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Delyn Christian has been writing songs, singing, and performing for over 40 years. He began his musical journey as a teenager in Columbus, Ohio in the 70's. Delyn currently resides on five acres outside of Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Ann. They have a dog, Katy, two cats, Emmy & Adele, a flock of chickens (Bobby Jo, Billy Jo, and Betty Jo), and raise Monarch butterflies from eggs collected on their milkweed plants.

Delyn performs singing, playing guitar (acoustic/electric), harmonica, and mandolin with his band, The Delyn Christian Band, The DC Trio, duos, solos, and specialty shows. He currently plays in Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, and has played on the annual Decades of Rock and Roll Oldies Cruise. Delyn has opened for Heart, Dan Fogelberg, McGuffey Lane, Jim Messina, Donovan, Roger McGuinn, Georgia Satellites, Tanya Tucker, and others.

Delyn composes songs about life, love, family, heartache, joy. He captures the essence of the song subject-- from the animal lover in Noah From Toccoa, the death of his father-in-law in Gunsmoke; the relationship break up of dear friends in The Garden; time spent in east Tennessee in Grandpa's Barn; his wife's energy in Dancing in the Kitchen, to songs about Mother Earth, Kentucky Stingray, Monkeys, Whiskey, the Moon over Marco Island and many more humorous and heartfelt tunes. He sings each song as if it were his last. Combining raw energy and true soul with every song he performs. Delyn strives to touch the heart and soul of the audience by bringing humor, heartache, joy, and pain with each song.
