Description for Stand Up and Live/Lève-toi et vis :

Can you find the light within when you feel really hurt, sad or depressed? If your aware inner voice was accessible and guiding you at those times, would it guide you to Stand Up and Live… to continue no matter what, to know that someone really is in your corner somewhere and that if you decide to take a step forward, it is likely that they will too!

Is it possible that you would also hear, “Never Give Up!?”
We did!

Which is why this song was written for those of us who have hit the proverbial ‘wall’ due to bullying, workplace harassment, discrimination, abuse at home, stress and exhaustion, etc.
This is a Song for the Soul. Remember this song if you or someone you know or love feels hopeless.
There are solutions. No one is really alone… and it truly does get better. Decide that you want it to get better and your aware inner voice will start to guide you through it. You have the goods! Use them!
This song may not be reproduced for resale, but can be used royalty free for:
Non-profit youth organization/group activities, school projects, choral events and small community group events that focus on non-discrimination, anti-bullying, suicide intervention and prevention as well as other similar causes.

Written by Cheryl Driskell and Denyse Marion (Deneece) of Ottawa-Gatineau; two women who have chosen to inspire through their music by writing Songs for the Soul. Performed by Deneece and produced by Peter Ranallo of Woodshed Studios in Montreal.

Inspired by (C) who faced work-place harassment and depression, and a young homosexual man who also took his life due to bullying.
