ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Den Flygande Bokrullen plays klezmer and Greek tunes. All instrumental and acoustic. The music is full of energy - joyous and melancholy, rough and humorous - an irresestible blend of Orient and Occident. Said about Den Flygande Bokrullen: 'Starkstrom aus Schweden', Fürter Nachgerichter. 'Klezmerski dynamit', Teatr NN, Lublin, Poland. 'Wow! They have a raucous swagger and the real joy of a 'Simca' band rather than the current run of concertising groups. They remind me so much of the Yiddish bands wich played the East End of London in the dwindling years of a great community. Party! Party!' Derek Reid, Folk Roots
Den Flygande Bokrullen started in Uppsala, Sweden back in '94. The group has released four albums and one EP.
