About Waiting In Line

Waiting In Line was recorded by Dennis Driscoll mostly in 1997 at his home in Ilwaco, Washington and also at KMUN 91.9 FM in Astoria, Oregon (Coast Community Radio).

It is Lo-Fi to an extreme and basically the whole album has a home demo sort of quality to it (of course). The tracks Bird Attack, It\'s Not Like America and Joe Versus The Ninjas are from Driscoll\'s High School days. Driscoll graduated from Ilwaco High School in 1996.

Joseph Bradshaw wrote and played the guitar on It\'s Not Like America and it is one of Driscoll\'s earliest \'Dennis Driscoll\' type recordings.

I Don\'t Wanna Go To McDonald\'s was recorded on a micro cassette recorder in the Art annex at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon (probably in 1997).

These songs have been freshly compiled (in July 2008) by Driscoll to form this particular \'new\' album. However, they were originally released way back when on \'Brown Recordings\' (a name that Driscoll used to have as his \'record label name.\') Now it\'s Egg Recordings of course! Enjoy this original, heartfelt and yes... Low-Fi music!

Note

Dennis Driscoll is an independent pop musician and cartoonist from the Pacific Northwest. Normally, he composes on the guitar, his computer or on a piano but also composes music while singing to himself.
