Album Notes
Denny Brown Detroit born, Denny Brown, has been a songwriter and singer for over two decades. Since his early days studying guitar with reverent Gary Davis and Doc Ross, he wanted to be what his is today, a dynamite singer and accomplished songwriter. In the early seventies, he was an active participant of the synthesis of folk and rock. Denny was a regular performer ant NewYourk's Gaslight Cabaret, opening shows for the best New York had to offer, people like Muddy Waters Bonnie Raitt, and John Prine. He also recorded and album with Bukka White for Victoria Spivey. Since those days Denny Brown has been working on his collection of songs. This man's warm intimate presence shines through on his urban rock and roll songs that reflect his energy range and intelligence.
