ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Went to a nature center in Willoughby Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland . i paged through a childrens book describing acid rain. My imagination took over from that point and started to think of the 1960s Acid Rain

Acid Rain Denny Carleton cp 2009

In the 60s there were these hippies Who thought that drugs was love
It’ll expand your mind and you’ll feel fine a psychedelic hug
There were kings and queens and hip James deans preaching from the mud
One thing they forgot to tell you It can make you go insane
Destroy your heart and ruin your souls and make you feel pain

Acid reign It’s such a shame
Acid Reign Feel the pain
Acid reign Who’s to blamr
Acid Reign

If a man cannot control his tongue then his religion is in vain
With our tongues we bless God and we curse our fellow man
Fresh water and salt water cannot come out of the same pipe
Bitterness ain’t from the Lord no matter what you seen or read
You can stand for life all you want but with your tongues you deal death

Coal and oil react with water it cause acid rain
It breaks down the plants and it kills the wild life
It causes chemical reactions in cities and in streams
One thing they forgot to tell you It can make you feel pain
Destroy your lands and ruin your soils and make you plant again
