Album Notes
The DFlowers are a five piece original rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their debut CD SPACE FOR RENT was released in February of 2003. Formed from members of local cover act Mercury Mayhem Band and longtime groove-rock band Rhinocerotic, the D-Flowers set out to create a solid collection of great rock and roll songs and succeeded with honors.

The opening number "Elevate Your Mind" has been featured on Milwaukee radio, as well as "Spaceship Man". "Done with the Blues" ( which took second place at the www.summerfest.com Big Gig Contest ) and "Don't Drive My Car" have earned a place as crowd favorites in the live performances, and "Soul in Love" is the ultimate stadium mood-rock jam. The wide palette of styles guarantees a different favorite song for everyone, but the cohesive "ROCK FACTOR" of the CD holds it all together. We dare you to listen to "Done with the Blues" and not crave roast beef afterwards. Double Dog Dare Ya!

This CD has blazing guitars, roaring vocals, and a KICK-ASS drummer who swings his sticks like a mad Maestro on stage... Yes my fellow ROCKERS, the D-Flowers are ready, willing, and able to pick up the burning torch of ROCK MUSIC and carry it to the next level of greatness! "Space for Rent" opens the flood-gates and bombards your musical senses with a lethal dose of pure ROCK MUSIC. This CD is just what the Doctor ordered. It will unclog your arteries and get the blood flowing to your musical brain again. Us Rockers have been held captive too long in this rap-infested world of music. The D-Flowers prove without a doubt that the GUITAR is still the undisputed KING in the realm of Rock. Thank God "Space for Rent" was finally released to rescue us.
This remarkable CD contains all the great music that pays homage to those Rock Legends who have withstood the test of time. If this style of music still appeals to your musical tastes, then by all means, order your copy of "Space for Rent" today. Now listen up ROCKERS, here's what you do. Get all your friends together and wait for the Mailman to deliver your order from CD Baby. Make sure you have plenty of good wine and cold beer around while you're waiting. Don't forget to change your BONG water Rockers, that's important... Now when your CD package arrives, I want you to rip it open with a vengeance. I mean attack like you're a Feshman in school trying to unhook a bra for the first time on Prom night... Pop this CD in your player, crank up the volume, and relive a little bit of the past! I'd be willing to bet that before long, the spirit of Jimmy Page, Robby Krieger, and John Bonham will be passing through your body... This is why you must have this CD... Long live ROCK!
All kidding aside Rockers, the D-Flowers are a great Rock Band and "Space for Rent" is a fantastic Rock Album. Order it today.... it's that GOOD!

If this isn't rock and roll, then I don't know what is!
I am so glad to have stumbled across this great band out of MILWAUKEE of all places. I picked up the CD at a live performance and it's been in my CD player ever since. The opening track "Elevate Your Mind" sets a very powerful "Foo Fighters meets the Beatles" tone and the second cut "My Plan" keeps that groove going. But the third song is the one that got me! I've played it for people and they call me back days later and say " I can't get that song out of my head! " or " what was that song with the 'blue roast beef' again? " Well ladies and gentlemen, that is "Done With The Blues", and that song alone is worth the price of admission here. But some of the real treats come later, including the vast, swirling space of "Soul In Love", the angry post-punk of "Spaceship Man" and the hard-edged almost delightfully demented "You Ain't Got Nothing On Me." This band is really going for a lot of different sounds here and it's such a refreshing listen. I'm ordering extra copies for some friends of mine. Thank you, DFlowers! I can't wait to get the next album!

No more old, worn out songs.....this is what we've been waiting for!!
When my uncle sent me Space For Rent I exspected some old guy pretending to sing. Little did I know that the DFlowers' Space For Rent was going to be anything but. When you listin to this CD, you get to escape the average sell-out band and listin to some REAL music. Just because rock is an older, raw, kick-ass taste in music, dosn't mean you have to listin to old musicians and tiered songs. The DFlowers deliver just that in this album! Finally! A band with good taste! This is what you've been searching for!
A oisis from the average album on the market. So COME ON! ELEVATE YOUR MIND! Space for rent? Buy it now!
