ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Raga Time": Rainbow Ragas for Osho

contains seven Ragas played in the Indian Classical Music style. The music is without percussion, relaxing and meditative. It is played on the Sitar; the beautiful instrument born out of Veena.

The artist, Dhyan Pradeep is a long time disciple of Sitar Maestro Ustad Usman Khan from Poona, India. Pradeep has developed his own unique style of playing the Sitar, which sounds like Singing. He is also a disciple of the Enlightened Master Osho, in whose physical presence he has played the Sitar in His Ashram in Poona, India.

Dhyan Pradeep is currently living in Germany, teaching Indian Music, holding Workshops . He has played concerts in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Cologne, Bremen, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen - also for the International Yoga Day in Frankfurt and for the Indian Week in Bremen and Hamburg. He also does Mantra, Kirtan, Bhajan singing with Harmonium and leads the "Sursangam Music Group" in Germany. He has recorded four albums with Sitar, Tabla, Dilruba and Tanpura.

"Satsang Moon" and "Over the Moon" are available on Itunes and Amazon Music.

The other two albums are:
"HeartStrings"and"Enchantment": Original melodies based on different Ragas and Indian Folk Music, played on the Sitar, Dilruba, Bamboo Flute, accompanied by the Tanpura and Tabla.
