Album Notes

Described by New York Music Daily as “underground noir” with songs that are “darkly cinematic” and voice a “bittersweet optimism”, Diamond Hotel is a 4 piece, Hudson Valley-based band playing their own eclectic blend of folk-rock noir originals. Drenched in dark tremolo guitars, rich harmonies, punctuated by swampy rhythms and lyrics that focus on the human condition, they could comfortably share a playlist with artists like Neko Case, Lucinda Williams, Wilco and The Decemberists. Diamond Hotel is comprised of lead singer/songwriter Raquel Vidal on acoustic guitar and keys, producer/drummer/vocalist Todd Giudice, bassist Seth Masten, and electric guitarist David Hollander. The band has been steadily growing a listening audience through energetic and heartfelt live performances at festivals, music venues and radio stations throughout the greater Hudson Valley and NYC region.
