Album Notes
This album is a salute to “Old Friends” in many aspects.
First, it’s a tribute to famous songwriters like Bob Wills and
John Denver, whose melodies have warmed our hearts for
decades... and to Clay Jerrolds, late friend of Stu and Jim,
who wrote some of the best songs we perform. It’s an
appreciation of our songs which have been out of release,
now re-arranged, re-recorded and sounding better than
ever... and to the musical partnership of Jim and Stu, who
met in Nashville in the mid 1990’s and have crafted a brand
of “New West” music enjoyed by people all over the world.
And always, always we are warmed and humbled by the
friendship of our fans, It is to you that this album
is dedicated. We trust it will become an “Old Friend”
to you as well
