ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Diane Patterson writes, sings, and carries her Mystic Acoustic Rock and Sacred Songs for the Peaceful Revolution with acoustic guitar, ukulele and voice. Since 1990, Patterson weaves spirit and unifying social commentary, now around the world, on festival stages, at folk music and conscious music gatherings, healing gatherings and in concert venues of Southern Oregon and Northern California, in Hawaii every winter for the last seven years, in Europe summers of 2008, 2011, and 2013, and December 2012 in Mexico for Synthesis Festival!

“Joni Mitchell meets Ani DiFranco. Patterson is a modern day folk goddess.”

Diane plays and collaborates with a number of artists working towards a more sustainable future, through the celebration of Abundance by Design. Currently she is finishing production of her fabulous new CD, Build a Bridge, featuring electronic downtempo Holy Land Re-mix by Sasha Rose!!! Stay tuned. This is a marvelous collection of producers, songs, healing vibrations!!

Based in Central California, independent and supported by her community, Diane considers herself a micro magical munition of manifesting highest consciousness, cleanest food for body and mind, best balance and highest integrity of relations between all Peoples, Elements, Directions, Resources. For this the songs are caught, carried, sung, rocked, and recorded. She is community supported, gets rides, stays with friends, and puts all her resources into her basic needs and recording and printing her music.

Recently I had the great heart opening and soul expanding pleasure to have Diane Patterson and Sara Tone perform live in the on-air-studio at KZSC during my program 'Conciliation Sunday'. What amazing songbirds these two empowered women are! The Dalai Lama says, 'Western women will save the world.', and Sara Tone and Diane Patterson are at the forefront of helping people remember their roots in 'Source', 'All Creation', and G.O.D. as the 'Grand Operational Design', inspiring us to live together in peace, love, joy, and wisdom. Where Sara has the rhythm and fierce nurturing of the Mother Earth coursing through her heart and lyrics, Diane is easily a spokeswoman for indigenous ancestors, downtrodden masses, and the environment, all with the twinkle of the 'fairy people' in her smile and eyes. Both are allies for the world and ride a river of Spirit that encourages all who come into their influence to move powerfully forward into 'Great Mystery' with curiosity, awe and wonder, a sense of adventure, and emotional flexibility. If ever you have the chance to experience the performance of one, or both, of these two bright woman/spirits, go! Treat yourself to a dose of deep compassionate humanity and joyous love that will reside in your heart and soul forever!

Host of 'Conciliation Sunday' from 6-9 am. Sundays, on KZSC, 88.1 fm, or www.kzsc.org
