ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I live in my home town of Madison WI. I am 52 years old, married, and the father of four mostly grown children. They are all funny and creative. My work here is done!... More? I have been playing fingerstyle acoustic guitar since I was in my early teens and over the years I have played for self healing, to pitch woo, to allow others to relax and as a lullaby to my children. I play a Martin
O-16 NY guitar and my music has been used in many local documentaries. I have been a performing artist for 35 years and I still get a thrill out of playing for an audience.
While I don't play any single style, my music has been shaped by a backwards progression from the Beatles to Chuck Berry to Muddy Waters to Son House. Each of these artists knew how to bring emotion and heart to their music. I strive to play every note with feeling and attitude. Throw some classical and flamenco stylings into the mix and you have a highly original guitar sound melding classical technique with blues slide: Irish folk with country style: lullabies with jazz. Somehow it all makes beautiful music. Give a listen.
