ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
One of the most downloaded bands at mp3.com when that site was the most popular mp3 site on the internet, Digital Pump is an interesting blend of Electronic/Trance and Industrial music with a taste of Classical thrown in! Digital Pump's composer, musician, and programmer is Robert Wright - a man who has been a professional musician for over 30 years. His style initiated as that of a Heavy Metal guitarist/vocalist influenced by bands such as Anthrax, Judas Priest, Pantera, Fight, and similar artists (although his personal style ranged much farther than these). Robert has performed in most Hollywood/Los Angeles "club" venues and at one time shared recording studios alongside the likes of Megadeth and Billy Idol at Track Records in Studio City.

His long-time love of a variety of genres and admiration of the works of such artists as Danny Elfman, Thomas Dolby, (early) Depeche Mode, YAZ, Enigma, Enya, and Nine Inch Nails eventually led to his venturing beyond the "Heavy Metal" scope of sounds into what has proven to be a very enjoyable position in music.
