ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dìleab Phrìseil (pronounced JEE-lip FREE-shil), Gaelic for “Precious Heritage,” is an ensemble of friends that originally formed from a church group. Featuring traditional songs of Scotland and Ireland, in English and Gaelic, along with fiddle, whistle, bodhran, and other instruments, Dìleab Phrìseil endeavors to preserve the heritage for which it is named

During the Spring and Summer of 2010, Dileab Phriseil went into the studio and recorded our first CD! A 50 minute mix of the silly and the serious, this CD reflects the range of music in our repertoire.

With a repertoire that includes traditional Scottish and Irish music, Dileab Phriseil is available for local fests; house parties and local establishment engagements.
