Album Notes
"Alice's music has that great combination of earthiness and groove that keeps it funky from the inside out. She's for real." - Bonnie Raitt

Alice Di Micele's 1988 debut recording features Alice on vocals and acoustic guitar along with cello, guitar, and vocal accompaniment.

This is a simple, timeless folk album that calls for repeated listening. Songs to heal the earth and the human spirit.

"If you are looking for some politcal folk music sung by in irresistably gorgeous alto, try this album!" (Ladyslipper)

sweetest souls I've ever heard.. Made a positive change with me!
Obviously we are still living in a time when our government brings much frustration.. It's such a relief to hear Alice twenty years ago singing with the passion for a better world.. She keeps me believing. I wonder why I've never heard her before.. The song, Dismantle "The War Machine" made my heart swell, and my spirit soar! A must for my IPOD
