ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dimple Singh Nandra is an Indian singer song-writer based in Cambodia. He was the founder of the renowned band Full Circle with whom he performed in various festivals and concerts in Nepal, India and the UK. In 1999, his band was also featured in Musician magazine, a billboard USA publication.

He produced two albums with Full Circle: Free your mind and The Answer.

In 2005, he produced his first musical documentary Mountain of truth a project that combined high-altitude trekking and performing all the way to the peak of Kala Patthar (5545m) overlooking the base camp of Mount Everest.

Dimple's move to Kenya in 2006 changed not only his life, but also his music as a result of exposure to the land itself and to different types of Kenyan music. The experience gained from performing with Kenyan artists inspired him to write new songs for his first solo album, titled Umoja to be released mid 2009.

One could consider his music to have a reflective / world style.

He has moved to Cambodia recently with his family and is working on plans to collaborate with traditional Cambodian musicians on various projects.
