ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Discordia’s new masterpiece Season Changes takes you on an ambitious musical journey of seven songs and 45 minutes of passionate and dazzling rock with progressive elements.

Discordia wants you to question your beliefs: Can rock music handle our intricacy and fresh musical ideas? The album was produced by the band and co-recorded and mixed by Mikko Herranen at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland. Herranen is a well-known producer and musician and his skills and experience were a perfect match for us.

Discordia was founded in Helsinki, Finland, in 2001. Discordia plays with female and male vocals which are provided by Riikka Hänninen and Tero Väänänen (also keyboards). Antti Tolkki's and Sande Sandholm's guitars give steady support for the melodies. Petri Sallinen's bass and Otto Mäkelä's drums pound rhythm into the mix. The music is written and arranged by the band.
